INAP presentation at conference of the European Training Foundation

Felix Rauner gave a presentation at the annual forum of the European Training Foundation's Euro-Mediterranean Partnership’s Education and Training for Employment (MEDA-ETE) project. Apprenticeship is one of the major programme areas in this co-operation with Mediterranean countries on their education and training systems and policies. The proceedings are now online. We had a successful and stimulating conference in Vienna. The contributors from 13 different countries spreading from the US to New Zealand showed that the topic is of global relevance. This insight was re-inforced by the presentation from Helmuth Zelloth, ETF, who gave a presentation on the relevance of the concept of apprenticeship in the Mediterranean countries. In order to capture the discussions and their results please have a look at the download section, where you can find the proceedings that comprise short versions of al the papers that have been held. Presentations will be uploaded in the next days.

Dissemination activities of INAP in Italy
Employment policies take a big share within the political and economical debates in Italy with the aim to contribute to the socio-economic developments on regional and on state level. VET development plays a key role and successful Apprenticeship programmes were developed and implemented, especially in the province of Pesaro and Urbino. In this context, TRAINING 2000 has presented the INAP project in the following events which were organized in cooperation with public and private institutions:
10th of March 2006 - The institute ‚Formazione e Lavoro of Bologna‘ (an institution in charge for apprenticeship training in the region Emilia Romagna - average of 18.000 apprentices each year) and TRAINING 2000 begin to cooperate in the area of apprenticeship training and development of methodologies. They are interested in taking part in future meetings and presentations within INAP project.
23rd of March 2006- The efforts and developments within apprenticeship training in the year 2005 by TRAINING 2000 were presented to approximately a hundred operators and representatives. The conference- workshop was attended by the Deputy Director for training and employment of the Marche Region - Mr. Ugo Ascoli. He is interested in receiving more information on the development of INAP. Elmo De Angelis will organize private work meetings with Mr. Ascoli.
20th of April 2006 - the Province of Pesaro and Urbino organize a conference on the topic „Work insertion of disabled people". TRAINING 2000 had the opportunity to present the INAP project and initiate a discussion with the Deputy Director of training and employment of the Province of Pesaro and Urbino - Mr. Massimo Galluzzi (attached photo) - who expressed interest for INAP. We have been asked to create an opportunity for collaboration and to support „innovative training in Europe". The experts for the Province of Pesaro and Urbino will be Dr. Augusta Compagnucci and Dr. Claudio Andreani.
